SUMMARY:Fieldtrip (FULL): Cambrian Fossils in the White Mountains
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE READ THE FULL DETAILS: \nREGISTRATION IS FULL. To be waitlisted please email wmrcinfo@ucla.edu. There is no guarantee for openings. A suggested donation of $20 per person is strongly recommended. Our email admin will discuss donation options. There is a fifteen-person participant cap for this trip. \nBill Krebs will be leading a 4×4 and hiking field trip to the White Mountains to see Cambrian Explosion fossil deposits. 4X4 vehicles are required. To reduce vehicle impacts please carpool or request a ride with WMRC. A caravan will meet at Owens Valley Station at 9 a.m. and return around 4:00 p.m. The group is expected to hike 4-5 miles of moderate terrain. Please wear hiking boots and appropriate apparel. Bring water\, snacks\, and a sack lunch.
