DESCRIPTION:Due to technical difficulties encountered at the original lecture\, we are offering another opportunity for Sue to share her research.  \nLocal avalanche forecaster Sue Burak will be giving a brief history of the active avalanche paths in Inyo and Mono County that impact roads and residential areas. Topics covered will include how far an avalanche runs and a discussion of avalanche runout estimates used in operational forecasting. \nPLEASE SEE THE INFORMATION BELOW FOR THE LOCATION.
